You need to set the interface metric on the VPN Network Adaptor to “1”.

Follow steps 1-5 on this page but change it for your OpenVPN interface (it will be a “TAP-Windows” interface)

DISABLE DISCORD OVERLAY OR THE GAME WILL BLACK SCREEN RANDOMLY

1. Extract archive and run GameData\BattlefrontII.exe.
2. Create your profile with your name
3. Go to Settings, Video and set resolution etc. Note that it will not change until you are in game
4. Go to Multiplayer, Join. Click Cancel when the “Busy…” screen appears and set the source to LAN on the top left
5. Join the game
