You need to set the interface metric on the VPN Network Adaptor to "1".

Follow steps 1-5 on [[https://radmin-club.com/other-games/star-wars-battlefront-lan-play-setup/|this page]] but change it for your OpenVPN interface (it will be a "TAP-Windows" interface)

===== Launching =====
**__DISABLE DISCORD OVERLAY OR THE GAME WILL BLACK SCREEN RANDOMLY__**

  - Extract archive and run ''GameData\BattlefrontII.exe''. 
  - Create your profile with your name
  - Go to Settings, Video and set resolution etc. //Note that it will not change until you are in game//
  - Go to Multiplayer, Join. Click Cancel when the "Busy..." screen appears and set the source to LAN on the top left
  - Join the game
